Since 1989, I have helped people of all ages, races, ethnicities, cultures, gender identities and sexual orientations feel better using evidence-based therapies. I directed Teen Services at UCSF from 1990 to 2002, received a Masters degree in social work from the University of California Berkeley School of Social Welfare in 1989, and hold advanced certification in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and EMDR from the Feeling Good Institute and EMDR International Association. I happily live in San Francisco, am a parent, and love being outdoors, hiking and in the water.
