Who I Am

One of my greatest joys is supporting clients in building a tool kit that empowers them to meet their highest goals and live happy, satisfying lives. With advanced certifications in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Gottman Method Coaching, and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), I positively address the varied challenges that life presents my clients. Professionally, I earned a Master's degree from the UC Berkeley School of Social Welfare in 1989, was the Mental Health Coordinator in the Department of Pediatrics at UCSF for 12 years, and have been in private practice since 2002. San Francisco is my home, where I enjoy surfing, roller skating, life-long learning, and being a parent.
